Autosave-File vom d-lab2/3 der AgfaPhoto GmbH

Wow! I can't believe I've made it as a host for the carnival. I know becoming a host only requires submitting 3 posts, but when I launched Symbiano-Tek 3 months ago, I used to watch the carnival live at some blogs, and keep wondering if someday I'll be able to host it on my own mobile blog. And here it is. Carnival of the Mobilists Number 81. Hosted on here on my Symbiano-Tek. Pharaohs' Style ;)

I'll start off by Tim Trent's post of Marketing by Permission, titled Returning to Matters Blue which discusses Bluespam, Bluecasting and their similars, whether they are welcomed in marketing or not. Tim presents graphs of Bluetooth terminology for us to draw conclusions on. I myself hate it when I receive an ad via SMS!

Moving to Marketing, Paul Ruppert asks why Mobile Payements aren't possible by IM when they are by SMS in his post IM2PAY: Mobile IM Payments, available on Mobile Point View.

Speaking about real time data on Mobile phones and how they can be useful for researchers, marketers.etc, Debi Jones invites us to her post Data Goldmine from Mobile and Social Networks on MobileJones where she provides very interesting information about this matter.

Is there a difference between pointing with a finger and pressing a button? Do touch interfaces increase user expectations? Find out at Rod McLaren's interesting post @ mobbu.com

Dennis Bournique of wapreview introduces us to the new MSN Mobile Design and it's improvements in his post MSN Mobile Redesign. I think it's a clever step took by MSN.

Speaking about the same subject -mobile web- , Rudy De Waele exposes us to Mobile Internet experience, and how useful it can be and if it was the same as PC in different fields. Read more at Rudy's excellent Topic: Mobile Web Revisited @ m-trends.org

Morten Hjerde @ Sender11 discusses why people would want an iPhone, and why people might hate it later, in his post titled The UI Difference.

What are the implications and impacts of the recently released Apple's iPhone on mobile industry? What are the reasons behind the iPhone being that famous? And does it really deserve to be? Find out @ Ricky Cadden's Video post: Driving with the Guru Episode 10 @ Symbian-Guru ( Probably the first time a video is submitted to the carnival, but why not:) Andreas Constantinou also wrote about the same matter in his post How iPhone is impacting the Mobile Industry @ VisionMobile Forum. It's obvious the iPhone has much of negative impacts on Mobile industry.

And last but not least, this week's best post is on Masabits by Tom Godber (applause) where he speaks and compares different Mobile Platforms and operating Systems in his very excellent post: Mobile Software Primer ( applause again :D ) Thumbs up Tom, keep up the good work!

I hope you've enjoyed this week's Carnival. It was an honor to host it here on Symbiano-Tek. Next week, the Carnival is going to be at C. Enrique Ortiz Mobility Webpage. Thanks everyone, c ya :)

Submit your blog article to the next edition of carnival of the mobilists using the carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on blog carnival index page.
