Symbian virus writer arrested and $50,000 worth of cell phones stolen.

robbery-texas-cellphonesGoing by cell phone related crimes, a 28 year old man was arrested in Valencia, accused of creating and spreading different variants of the Cabir and Commwarrior worms, which attacks Symbian operated mobile phones.

 At another side of the world, armed robbers walked into a T-Mobile store Thursday afternoon, forced employees to open a safe and then made off with about $50,000 worth of cell phones. Witnesses said three men had entered the store and began looking at phones. When a store clerk offered assistance, two of the men pulled out guns and demanded the good phones and the camera tapes.
